Villa Maria - Amalfi

Well, that was a surprise!

Nestled high above the coastline, this hidden gem was so great! Spacious and cozy rooms offered amazing views, while the good breakfast added to the charm. The staff were very good. A perfect retreat from the busy streets below, easily accessible by bus or a scenic walk.

Hotel's location was amazing and stunning as it was walk from a bus stop. The room was modern when upgraded with a spa bath and a lovely wee balcony, for instance.

Spotlessly clean and little place, freshly prepared and gorgeous breakfast with a lot of options. Nice, welcoming staff towards all guests. Central location in the restaurant we had dinner. What a very comfortable stay, nothing too much trouble...

Gorgeous views, quiet village atmosphere, convenient bus access to Amalfi.

The listing exaggerates the distance to Amalfi. The actual road trip is quite lengthy!!! The early church bells are a nuisance for a peaceful morning wake-up!!! Perhaps consider soundproofing or a later bell schedule!!!

The staff, especially Andrea and Antonio, were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the comforting cleanliness of my room, along with the substantial breakfast options and the charming village atmosphere of Pogerola.

Everything is great here, had an excellent stay for my whole Amalfi vacation. The units are new-fashioned, fashionable with AMAZING view.

The breakfast is fresh made and lovely on the deck, has appetising food. The location is great and stunning, 2 km from Museum of Paper. It's next door to bars and restaurants too...

the views from the terrace are fine but it's tough getting a cab late at night.

I loved starting my mornings with the super tasty breakfast spread and enjoying the amazing views from my room. The garden terrace was perfect for soaking up the sun, and the cozy seating area was great for relaxing. The only thing was that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, but it didn't ruin my experience at all. 😊

Couples looking for romance

Had a amazing time! The view from my room was just amazing, birds singing in the morning while sipping fresh coffee made my day. The breakfast was simple, but the croissants? Absolutely delicious! And sitting on the terrace at sunset, it's like the world just slowed down. The host was kind, he went outta his way to arrange a taxi for us which was real smooth.

It wasn't inexpensive for sure, but let me tell you, it was worth every euro.

Just a fine choice for a quick weekend visit in Amalfi with high value for money. The breakfast spread was really tasty and filled me up for the day. Make sure to check the bus schedule for easy access to Amalfi.

Fine views and spacious rooms. The local village vibe in Pogerola is a charming surprise. The easy bus ride to the main square. Enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere greatly!

The church bells outside were quite the alarm clock-5:15 AM is a bit much, darling! And don't get me started on the fitness challenge of those stairs!

The place is nice, and has free Wi-Fi, an outdoor dining area, and a tv. On my first stay, the staff kindly helped me find parking. I'll be back for a weekend!
